Across every aspect of systems development, including crop/variety selection and farm production methodologies, animal management and production, collection, processing and distribution, Capiconic works in partnership with local agencies and investors to overcome the challenges normally associated with agriculture and food development in the global south.

In each project we undertake we aim to be the central co-ordinator and developer providing the knowledge base, access to technological expertise and novel finance products necessary for investors to undertake previously challenging developments, with confidence. We bring state-of-the art food technology to geographies where it is desperately needed but has previously been difficult if not impossible to introduce.

ENGINEERING & FEASIBILITY

Our expertise covers everything from topographic, soil and engineering surveys through whole farm and irrigation design and planning, Livestock facility and food processing design and civil engineering, development planning and approvals.

PROCUREMENT

An end-to-end, value orientated procurement service including development of procurement strategies, terms and conditions and bidder lists, preparation of RFP packages, vendor evaluation, and analysis through to delivery and commissioning monitoring

CONSTRUCTION

Major projects are complex undertakings, often involving dozens of contractors and suppliers, hundreds of workers, and millions of dollars in material, equipment and services. We offer a complete, quality assured, multi-partner construction management and oversight service designed to minimise risk and maximise investor returns.

Commissioning

Complete process and facility commissioning, including process efficiency, safety and effectiveness. Tender matching, training and support, and handover of a fully operational, process-proved facility to the operational management teams.

OPERATIONS & MANAGEMENT

Adopting the latest and most advanced practices to optimise productivity whilst prudently managing input costs. We build highly talented teams that operate at the highest levels of health and safety management, constantly supported with up to date vocational training. This is supported with business systems providing real-time budget monitoring, cost analysis and financial planning.

On-going Research

Crop trials, breeding and genetics programs, agronomic and farming system development and food process optimization. Our on-the-ground R&D is long term and ongoing, embracing the latest science and technologies pragmatically applied to real world situations to deliver the most productive systems in a localized context.
